What you are eating each day can make a big difference in your blood sugar levels. Carbohydrates like potatoes, pasta, bread and sweets are metabolized into the blood stream quickly and raise blood sugar. Avoiding these foods, or eating them only in very small amounts, will help keep your blood sugar steady. Eat foods with a low glycemic index, and eat less so your body metabolizes the sugar already in your bloodstream.
