- Using oils to massage the scalp every day can help with not only the growth of white hair, but also to keep the hair healthy. One remedy uses lavender and bay oils, and is involves mixing about 6 drops of these to either 4 ounces of sesame or almond oil. The way this works is by increasing the amount of blood flow into the hair roots. Massage this mixture into the hair and scalp, wait at least a half an hour, and then wash your hair.
