"Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" is the first Guitar Hero game to focus exclusively on a single band. You can play 29 Aerosmith songs and 12 songs by other bands that influenced or toured with Aerosmith. You also can enter cheat codes that alter game play, unlock songs and prevent you from failing songs.

    Entering Cheats

  1. The codes for "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" are activated through the Cheats selection in the Options menu. Codes must be entered the first time using "Enter New Cheat." The cheat will then permanently appear in the Cheats menu. Each note or chord must be strummed when entering a cheat code.
  2. Play Modes

  3. Enter YO, YO, YO, YO, YO, RY, RY, RY, RY, RB, RB, RB, RB, RB, YB, YO, YO to get hyper speed mode, which speeds up the rate the notes move across the screen. Enter GR, GR, RO, RB, GR, GR, RO, RB to get performance mode, which disables the game display and requires players to play songs from memory. Enter RY, RB, RB, RY, RY, YB, YB, YB, RB, RY, RB, RB, RY, RY, YB, YB, YB, RB for precision mode, which decreases the amount of leeway the game gives for properly timing notes.
  4. All Songs

  5. Only 30 of the 41 songs in the game are unlocked at the beginning and you usually have to play through the entire career mode to get the others. But if you enter RY, GR, GR, RY, RY, GR, RY, RY, GR, GR, RY, RY, GR, RY, RB, all songs will be available.
  6. No Failure

  7. If you enter GR, B, GR, GY, B, GY, RW, O, RY, GY, Y, GY, you won't fail a song, even if you miss notes or your rock meter is empty.
