Easy Mince Meals


Make easy meals at home with any type of mince and a few other basic ingredients. Transform beef, turkey, chicken and pork mince into hearty filling meals with ease. Add flavor and protein to your home cooked meals by picking up a package of mince and making simply prepared food your entire family will enjoy.


  • Heat a sautee pan to medium high heat before adding half a cubed white onion and half of the mince of your choice. Break the chunks of mince into tiny pieces with a spatula for even cooking. Add salt and pepper to the meat and onions and allow them to cook until they have released their moisture and browned. Remove the finished batch and set it aside to drain fat on a paper towel. Reheat the pan and add the second half of the mince and onion. Treat this batch similar to the first remembering to season, break up big pieces and drain on a paper towel when finished cooking.

    Sautee your remaining raw vegetables in the pan with olive oil on medium high heat until they are soft. Add both batches of browned mince back into the pan along with crushed tomatoes, water and dried herbs. Simmer this sauce for 30 on low before pouring it layers with noodles and cheese sauce. Bake your lasagna covered for the first half and uncovered for the second half of its cook time to develop a nice brown top crust.


  • Dump your entire package of mince into a large mixing bowl. Hand tear bread chunks from day old bread for a rustic look to your finished loaf. Pour milk into the bowl with the bread chunks and mince and allow it to sit covered so the bread has time to absorb the liquid completely. Sautee any vegetables you intend to add until they are only slightly soft in a small amount of olive oil. Use clean hands to mix all your ingredients together along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Divide your mix into two piles on sheets of aluminum foil and shape them into ovals. Keep the thickness of your loaf as consistent as possible for more even cooking. Bake your oval loafs with an aluminum foil tent to hold in the moisture. Then drain all the moisture from both loaves and apply a simple tomato paste, vinegar and brown sugar glaze. Return them to the oven for 20 minutes to set the glaze and create a nice crust.


  • Crumble your raw mince together with a few tablespoons of oil in a large mixing bowl while a sautee pan or wok comes to high heat. Cook half your mince until brown in the pan and then set the cooked meat aside and cook the second half of the mince. Dividing the meat keep the pan from overcrowding which would lower the pans temperature enough to effect the cooking. Sautee onions and carrots for a few minutes on high heat before adding finely sliced cabbage for a fast fry. Add the mince back into the pan and combine the ingredients thoroughly. Move this mixture to the side of the pan and combine oyster sauce, water, soy sauce and cornstarch in an empty area. When the sauce mixture begins to thicken incorporate the meat and vegetables for a final sautee. Serve this meal hot in a bowl over steamed rice or noodles.
