Teenage guys and girls both want good-looking hair. Thanks to their lifestyles of staying up late and sleeping in, however, they might not always have the time to create a perfect hairstyle before school starts in the morning. All teens should have a few easy-to-do, but still fashionable, hairstyles in their arsenal that they can accomplish in less than 5 minutes. No one will know that you only rolled out of bed 10 minutes before schools starts, and you can use the time saved to catch a few extra z's in the morning.

    Girls---Messy Bun

  1. Every girl should know how to do a messy bun, a perfect style for those days when you shower but don't have time to blow-dry your hair, or when you just don't have time to do anything but get dressed and head out the door. A messy-bun hairstyle gives your ponytail a little extra volume and stops it from looking like the same hair you go to gym with. Pull your hair into a ponytail and begin looping a ponytail holder around it. When you get to the last loop, only pull the ponytail about 2/3 of the way through. Reach up to where the hair is sticking up at the top, and pull some of those strands out to create a perfectly messy bun that looks great while only taking about 30 seconds.
  2. Girls---Shaggy Hair

  3. Girls should talk to their hairstylist about cutting in some extra layers. Layered cuts can camouflage a lack of styling by falling more easily, and they don't require be blow-drying or flat ironing. Ask for your hairstylist to cut the ends of your hair with a razor comb so that the ends are uneven. That way, when you're running late, you can do an easy hairstyle by running some gel through your hair to texturize it, and then popping in a clip or hairband to accessorize. The right young and stylish hair accessories, no one will know how easily you styled your hair.
  4. Guys---Close Crop

  5. Guys have it pretty easy when it comes to hairstyles. However, if you like to wear your hair a little on the long side, you know how crazy it can look when you wake up in the morning. Get a close cropped hairstyle that offers a little bit of variety so you can change your hair according to your mood. Ask for hair two to three inches long on top and shorter on the sides. Then, when you wake up in the morning, use a flexible styling wax on your fingers to muss up your hair. It doesn't take long, but it looks styled and modern.
