- A jacket, fleece and long coat are all needed at the Sundance Film Festival. A short, down ski jacket is great for early and mid-morning activities. A fleece is perfect to layer with or to wear to afternoon activities when the temperature has risen slightly. For those harsh February nights, a long coat is key. The longer the coat, the warmer you will stay. North Face, Columbia and Volcom all offer stylish, fashion-forward jacket and fleece options. For a longer coat, Burberry's traditional trench coat is a classic.
- Headgear is a statement at Sundance. Since most of your body heat escapes through your head, wear a warm winter hat. Plan your head wear around your activities as your hair will likely end up matted and unruly. A neutral colored stocking hat will be perfect during the day. At night, opt for fur, faux or real, or earmuffs for a fun head accessory. Earmuffs will prevent your hair from being messed up for a night out but will prevent frostbite.
- Keep your manicure fresh and your hands warm by wearing gloves. Frostbite can happen quickly to fingers, making gloves a necessity if you spend any amount of time outside. Gloves lined with fleece will be soft and warm. Gloves made of waterproof/breathable fabric or leather will stop cold air from seeping into the seams. Match your gloves to your hat or choose a bright colored glove to spice up your look.
