For example, the first phase is a diet that is high in protein. The protein will help you develop lean muscle and provide you with enough energy to participate in the P90x exercise on a daily basis. Good sources of protein include chicken, pork, and nuts. The P90x program allows you to burn a high amount of calories with each exercise. That is why you need to have enough protein in your body.
