If you need a gift which is a little less pricey or closer to where you live, you can buy him lessons in his favorite sport. Buy a package of tickets for his favorite team. You can buy a nice display case for any sports keepsakes he may already own. If he plays golf, buy him a gift certificate to the golf course, or go a step further and call some of his golfing buddies to arrange a golf outing for him. - Take his favorite picture of the two of you and have it transferred onto canvas.
