Different Spiderman Costumes
Spider-Man has been a popular comic-book character since the 1960s. The Spider-Man movies from the early 2000s made the franchise even bigger. His popularity shows on Halloween, when kids and adults alike mimic Marvel's red and blue costumed hero, or his friends and foes. If you want to show your love for the Spidey legend, there are three main characters to be for Halloween.

Boy dressed as Spider-Man
Traditional Spider-Man from the comic books is a blue and red costume that the comic book's character, Peter Parker, made after finding out a bite from a radioactive spider had given him spider-like abilities. The costume consists of red boots with a blue and red body suit (or two piece) in a tight, flexible material. The legs are blue, the sides of the torso are blue and the chest is red with black spider web print. The chest also has a small black spider on it about fist-size. The red with web print continues from the chest over the shoulders and around the neckline. The back is blue with a larger version of the spider. The mask is entirely red with black spider web print and white eyes (usually made with small mesh to see out of).
Spider-Girl

Girl dressed as Spider Girl
Spider-Girl the comic book character is supposed to be the daughter of the original Spider-Man character. However, many women dress as Spider-Girl to be the female version of Spider-Man with their husbands, thinking that Spider-Man and Spider-Girl were a couple. Spider-Girl's costume is very similar to Spider-Man's costume with blue legs, red boots, blue side torso and red/web chest with a spider on the chest. The spider on the chest, however, takes up the entire front of Spider-Girl's outfit. Although the comic-book character does have a full-head mask, Spider Girl store-bought costumes usually come with only an eye mask.
Venom

Man dressed as scary Venom
Venom is the name of Spider-Man's alter self after the Venom Symbiote attaches itself to Spider-Man. The symbiote changes the look and personality of whom it attaches (in this case, Spider-Man). The Venom suit is all black with a large, white spider taking up the entire chest area. Some costumes will have white spider web print in some areas of the costume as well. The mask is usually the same as the Spider-Man mask, except all black and always with white eyes. However, the character in the comic book is usually seen with a huge, malicious smile showcasing rows of deadly teeth. There are scary Venom masks available showing those razor sharp teeth and a large tongue.
