Cinderella Wedding Crafts

Creating an enchanted environment for a Cinderella wedding worthy of any fairy tale takes money or a crafty person who is willing to devote her time to turn the venue into a magical place. Look for items you want to include in your wedding, then find ways to duplicate them while adding your own touch. Patience and creativity will result in one-of-a-kind pieces that will add to the decor.

  • Create a wishing well for the center of each table. Decorate the wells with white satin and tulle, blue or pink bows, or strings of pearls. Birds, ribbons and roses can decorate the top of each wishing well. Guests could be encouraged to write a bit of advice or general well wishes on the back of their place cards to add to the wishing wells. Those cards will serve as memories for the couple to reflect on later.

Fashion magical wands out of long wooden dowels. Wrap them with glittery silver pipe cleaners or dip them in glue and then roll them in silver glitter. Attach a star, pre-made or fabricated out of a pipe cleaner. Tinsel can be attached to the end of each wand for a more complete, dramatic finish. The wands can serve as favors and centerpieces by putting them all in a large clear vase. Surround the vase with votive or tea light candles and sprinkle red silk rose petals for a romantic touch.

  • Guest book or photo album covers can be made out of luxurious silk or satin material. Attach or sew words and items symbolic to the Cinderella theme. Use glass slippers, magic wands, carriages, castles or other related items. The spine of the album could read "Once Upon a Wedding..." or the front cover could state "Happily Ever After" with the couple's names and wedding date. The cover could also resemble a large storybook. For a guest book, use the words "The Great Story Book of Michelle and Michael's Happily Ever After" or something along those lines.

Cake Toppers

  • Purchase a plain wire carriage to use as your base. Wrap silver pipe cleaners or silk greenery with small leaves around the wires of the carriage. Fill the center of the carriage with rose petals, bride and groom figures, candles or a glass slipper. Attach the carriage to a round mirror using hot glue. This would work as a centerpiece as well as a cake topper.

Baskets and Pillows

  • Cover a basket or pillow in the same silk material as the guest book. Add satin ribbon bows to the basket, winding the ribbon around the handle if you desire. Fill the basket with red, pink or white silk rose petals for the flower girl to drop along the aisle. The pillow could have lace or ribbon going around it as a trim or across the pillow ending in a bow in which rings could be tied.
