"Carnival Funfair Games," known as "Carnival Games" in the U.S., lets players take part in more than 20 carnival games and events. Players compete for prizes as they try to unlock more games and costumes. "Carnival Games" can be tricky to master at first, as it makes good use of the Wii remote.

    Skill Games

  1. Skill games rely on precision and wise choices. Games such as Kapow, Frog Leap and Ring Toss rely mainly on the player's accuracy. When shooting in Kapow, aim for the spaces between the targets, as it is possible to knock down more than one. Power also comes into play for Frog Leap and Ring Toss. Toss your rings and jump your frogs toward the closest targets. Try to keep a steady hand and apply only as much force as necessary. You will win far more prizes by hitting multiple targets than by trying to hit those with the highest points.
  2. Tests of Strength

  3. There are a few ways to cheat in the games that rely mainly on strength. In some cases, you can fool the system by moving the Wii remote in a way other than the game intends. In the Test of Strength game, try moving your remote in close, fast circles instead. The controls will read this as the correct movement done extremely fast. Similarly, in Bowler Coaster, you can use a simple rhythm to get a perfect score. Tap your remote approximately once per second six times to beat the first stage. Seven evenly spaced taps are needed for the second stage. Use 16 taps to win the final round. Once you have the rhythm down, you will find it possible to win perfectly every time.
  4. Lucky Prizes

  5. There are many hidden items that can only be found by random occurrences in the game. Often, these items are in the galleries and are special targets that pop up infrequently. In Lucky Pass, look for a bird on top of one of the games. Click the girl monkey in Love Lane for another. Claw Alley has a randomly appearing UFO, and Rodent Row has a gopher. Clicking on these items, or any of the others scattered about the area, will give you special clothing options for your characters.
