When you have a computer and the Internet, you never have to be bored. There are plenty of cool things to see and do and ways to learn and have fun. Start getting the most out of your computer and Internet experience by finding out what special experiences await you on the Internet.

Listen to Music

As long as your computer has speakers, you can listen to the music of your choice with the Internet and your computer. Go to the AOL homepage at AOL.com and click on the Music button on the left-hand side of the page. Near the bottom of the next page, you will see AOL radio with a button underneath that says "listen to AOL radio now." Click on that button and a pop up will appear with the listed choices. Pick the type of music you want to listen to and click on that choice.

Watch Movie Trailers

Download and install Yahoo Instant Messenger. Click on the plug-in "add" link at the bottom of the friend's list window. Choose Yahoo movie trailers and click on the "try it now" button. The movie trailers will appear at the bottom of your friend's list window. Pick the movie trailer you want to see and the trailer will open in another window.

Play Games

Play games by going to Yahoo.com or other game sites. You can download the games to play anytime or play most of the games right on the site free. The free games may have limited features but they are still cool to play. Explore all of the categories from word or puzzle games to arcade and adventure games.

See and Read the News

Watch top stories of the day at CNN.com or just catch up on the day's events. See all of the top events by category including stories on politics, entertainment, money, travel and world news. You can even put in your local zip code to get your weather forecast.

Shop Online

Instead of spending time and gas money to go to the mall, let your fingers type you through online shopping. No matter what you are shopping for, it is sure to be available in new or used condition on the Internet. Most stores in the real world have online websites where you can view pictures of the products along with pricing and other information.

Other Cool Things to Do

Get a degree through one of the online Universities. Take online classes about subjects that interest you. Chat with your friends online using one of the instant messenger services. Send photos to your friends by attaching your photos to an email. Pursue an online romance relationship by using Internet chat rooms designed for this purpose.
