Curly hair can be difficult to manage, but you can have beautiful curls without spending hours in front of the mirror. Curly hair needs more oil in order to keep the curls from breaking, so shampoo your hair just two times a week, but condition your curly hair daily. An amazing haircut will help you have great curly hair, too.

    The Foxy Faux-Hawk

  1. One way to make for easy styling is to go super short with curly hair. If you go super short, your curls may be downplayed, so if this is what you want, this cut is for you. The foxy faux-hawk leaves the hair on the sides and back of your head almost as short as a buzz cut. The hair on the top of your head is between one and two inches long. When styling your hair, use a straightener for the hair on the top of your head. After that's done, back comb the hair for height and use hair spray to hold in place. If you want to keep your hair curly in order to reduce styling time, simply use gel to hold the curls in place on top of your head. Another styling option is to use pins to hold curls in place, creating a fancier look.
  2. Chin-Grazing Bob

  3. Another classic haircut for short curly hair is the chin-grazing bob. This cut is one with hair the same length, right at your chin. This haircut can have bangs or not. If you choose bangs, get thinner ones angled towards the side and not straight across your forehead. The best way to style the bob is to apply a strong-hold gel to damp hair. Curl one-inch sections of hair around your finger and spritz with hair spray to hold the curl in place. This leads to defined curls all over your head.
