- Two common items can help to resolve blackheads. Radish seeds can be ground and mixed with water to make a paste. Apply the paste to blackheads for 5 minutes to open sebaceous gland pores and cause blackheads to disappear. Rinse the face thoroughly after the 5-minute period. Potato juice may also be applied to the face to remove blackheads, close the sebaceous glands and reduce the secretion of oil glands on the face.
- Fuller's yeast, available at most health food stores, can be mixed with 4 spoonfuls of almond powder and 2 spoonfuls of glycerin soap. Boiled water should be added to the mixture until it takes on the consistency of paste. The paste can be applied to the affected area as though the paste were a face mask and should be left on for several minutes until the face begins to feel dry. Then, it should be rinsed off thoroughly using warm water. This helps blackheads disappear and helps prevent the formation of new ones.
- Use fenugreek leaves to make a paste with warm water. Apply the paste as a face mask and leave the mask on overnight. Rinse thoroughly in the morning. The paste helps prevent blackheads from forming. Blackheads already present can be treated by washing your face with water that was boiled with fenugreek seeds in it.
