      • Even though these games will test your brain more than your reflexes, you will still need a quick hand. In the multiplayer mode and time-based individual exercises of "Big Brain Academy," speed is essential. Learn how to point and maneuver the Wii remote as fast as possible.

      Earning Medals

      • "Big Brain Academy" requires you to earn medals to earn new challenges and complete the game. In each challenge, your score will determine what medal you earn. You will need a 100-gram brain for a bronze medal, 200 grams for a silver and 300 grams for the gold. The difficulty settings determine how hard it is to earn platinum medals, with 400 grams required on easy level, 475 grams on hard and 500 grams on expert. Practice the challenges to master them and earn higher medals. There is one easy trick you can try to earn a better medal. If you quit out of one game four times in 60 seconds, you get a platinum medal automatically.

      Memory Puzzles

      • "Brain Challenge" features a number of memory challenges in which you often catch a glimpse of a number of objects and then they disappear. Afterward, you are asked to remember what you saw. If you are having trouble with these puzzles, try jotting down notes on a pad. This can help you get through some of the trickier parts.

      Hearing Mini-Games

      • One game in "Big Brain Academy" requires you to hold the Wii remote up to your ear and listen to various food orders. You then have to point at the screen and select items in the proper order. Make sure the batteries in your Wii remote are strong so that the sound can be heard properly.
