Each year Microsoft grants professional certifications to thousands of information technology professionals around the world. Microsoft Certification Program certificates are an evaluation of a demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in Microsoft products. This global credential is taken very seriously by the information technology community. Microsoft's certification process includes an initial application review along with multiple tests within the area of expertise defined by the applicant.

Navigate to the Microsoft Learning MCP website (see the Reference section for a link).

Type the MCP holder's six-digit transcript ID in the Transcript ID field on the screen.

Type the MCP holder's access code into the Access Code field on the screen.

Click "Submit." The following screen displays confirmation of the validity of the certification in question.

Tip

The access code and transcript ID must be obtained from the MCP. Microsoft does not share this information with the public.
