Walk down the Strip to some of the world's greatest cities for nothing more than the cost of shoe leather.
At Paris Las Vegas, you'll stroll past buildings that will make you think you're right in the heart of France. Admire the Arc de Triomphe and walk around the Eiffel Tower.
If you'd rather go to Italy, loiter alongside the canals at the Venetian and watch the gondoliers propel their boats past the shops and under balconies and bridges.
If you prefer to see America first, visit New York New York Hotel and Casino, enjoying the cobblestone streets and iconic skyline. - In front of the Bellagio, the fountains in the lake put on a splendid show every evening. Choreographed to music, the waters leap and dance and occasionally splatter passersby with windborne spray, a welcome relief from the prevailing desert heat.
- Drive to the Las Vegas sign on the south end of the Strip and get your picture taken beneath it (Reference 2).

The Fremont Street Experience at the downtown end of the Strip is a music and light show that takes place nightly. The light canopy cost an estimated $70 million, and the shows attract huge crowds.
Also check out the Neon Museum's open-air Fremont Street Gallery, where a collection of restored neon signs that once embellished businesses and casinos in Las Vegas are on display. Off the Strip is the museum's Boneyard, where you can see more than 150 signs that have yet to be refurbished. -
Wildlife abounds in Las Vegas, not all of it humankind. The Flamingo Hotel and Casino is also home to a wildlife habitat housing more than 300 penguins, turtles, flamingos and other kinds of birds.
At the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand, you can see dozens of the Kings of Beasts through the glass walls. The 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium at the Silverton Hilton holds 4,000 fish, and the hotel has two more tanks visible that house jellyfish in its Mermaid Lounge.
