    1. Who Am I?

      • Party games are great icebreakers.

As guests arrive, tape on their back the name of someone who appears in the Bible without letting them see who it is. The object of the game is for guests to guess whose name is on their back. Guests must ask questions of other guests, like "Am I male or female?" "Was I a king?" "Did I eat an apple?" Using the answers given, they must guess who they are. Guests who correctly identify their character can take the tag off their back. This is a great icebreaker to get a party started.

      Christian Trivia

      • Team games are always fun.

Try one of the sites listed below under Resources, or do a search for "Christian trivia." Print out your trivia questions. Divide guests into teams. Award points for each correct answer. The team with the most points wins.

      Bible Charades

      • Charades

Before you start the game, designate a timekeeper. This person will track scores and keep time. Divide into teams with at least three people on each team. Set a time limit for each round (between three-five minutes). Have groups decide on hand signals to determine movies, songs, etc. Give each team paper and pencils and have participants write songs, biblical phrases, Bible characters, etc., on slips of paper, then fold the slips and put them in a large bowl. Have teams trade bowls. One person from the first team is chosen to pick a slip out of the team's bowl. Without speaking, that person must act out what is written on his or her slip of paper while teammates try to guess the answer. The timekeeper counts the number of guesses and calls time if it runs out. The one who guesses right is up on the next challenge. The team with the most correct guesses with the least amount of clues is the winner.
