Go for a high stacked bob with your hair longer in the front. Leave only a half-inch of hair around your neckline and stack the back up to your crown. Ends should be cut with razor scissors to allow for even length but with jagged edges. Throw a few layers in the front of your head to create body and volume.
Rub a dime-sized amount of styling serum in your wet head. Towel dry excess serum and water and then blow dry your hair. Dry sections of hair wound around a large round brush. The back of your hair should dry quickly and naturally. Part your hair and brush it to one side. -
Create a choppy bob look by creating varying lengths of hair around your head and the back should be shorter than the front. Use thinning scissors to create a wispy look and cut severe jagged edges into your ends and layers. This cut has no bangs, so they should blend with the rest of the style and come to approximately chin length.
Style this cut using a dime-sized amount of pomade on wet hair. Drag your fingers through your layers and pull them forward. Allow hair to air dry and continue playing with it while it dries. Pull bangs in front of your eyes and bring your ends and layers down and forward until they are dry.
Lightly mist with hairspray and allow the style to set. Shake your head once the spray has dried to retain a natural look. -
Bobs with bangs can have an edgy appeal if you include long layers and lots of razor sharp cuts. Keep your bangs eye length and cut them with razor scissors to create small jags. Add long layers throughout your do and include small jagged cuts around your face.
Add a palm full of styling mousse to your wet head and blow it dry using a large round brush. Wind small sections around the brush and pull the brush up and out to create volume. Part your hair in the middle once it's dry and comb with a large tooth comb.
