- If you choose units to do with your students--whether they be about social studies, science or math--you can scrapbook those learning experiences. Makes sure to bring a camera to school on days of hands-on learning and snap some photos of your students having fun. Then, make a scrapbook of all of the different units you taught, giving each unit a couple of pages and noting what the class learned. Ask the students what their favorite parts were and put their answers in the scrapbook.
- Did you take your students to the zoo? Did you embark on an overnight campout? Field trips and adventures are great scrapbooking ideas. Take pictures and then write down the details of the trip, why you went on the trip and what the students learned. It is a great opportunity for students to remember all of the fun they had on various field trips, and the new things that they experienced.
- Consider commemorating each year's class by giving each child a piece of card stock and allowing them to make their own page about themselves and what they learned during the year. When everyone is done, you can compile the page in a memorial scrapbook.
