Many of us may suffer from some sort of hair loss during the course of our lives. Hair loss can occur for a variety of reasons--the most common include heredity, nutrient deficiency, over-processing (such as bleaching or heat styling) and hormonal changes. There are lots of products that promise to give you thicker hair overnight, but there really is no such miracle product. Natural remedies are a good option if you want to avoid possible side effects of prescription medication and have naturally beautiful hair. These remedies, although not scientifically proven, are very popular folk remedies for hair regrowth.

    Massage

  1. Your hair follicles need lots of oxygen and nutrients in order to grow your hair. Massage is one way to increase blood flow to that area, and you can do it every day. Simply give your scalp a quick massage while you shampoo or accompany any of the following hair growth treatments you may use from this article with a penetrating scalp massage.
  2. Exercise

  3. Exercise does so much for your health and beauty. It is also good for your hair as it, like massage, increases blood circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients where they need to go. Aim to get about thirty minutes of moderate aerobic exercise daily for better overall health and beautiful hair.
  4. Rosemary and Sage

  5. Rosemary and sage, according to herbal practitioners, are two herbs that may help to stimulate the hair follicles, keep the scalp clean and make hair thicker. Try adding sage, rosemary, burdock, nettle and peach leaf to a small pot of boiling water. Let this boil for about five to ten minutes, then strain it and allow the liquid to cool. You can use this "tea" daily to cleanse your hair and hopefully encourage hair growth.
  6. Nettle Root Extract

  7. Nettle root extract is a fairly promising natural remedy for hair loss because of its high content of vitamins A and C as well as essential fats. Try warming the oil and massaging it into your scalp for a few minutes, then shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
  8. Jojoba Oil

  9. Jojoba oil is very nourishing to the hair and hair follicles and it may also help to promote hair regrowth. The hypoallergenic nature of this oil makes it safe for most people to use and it may also benefit people with skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and dandruff. Use jojoba oil just like the nettle root extract, warming the oil and massaging it into your scalp.
