Exercises That Increase Stamina
The majority of the gym population is concerned with either gaining muscle mass or improving strength levels. Unfortunately, those who focus all of their efforts on these two sets of goals are missing out on one of the most important pieces to the exercise puzzle. Without a fair level of stamina, how can you expect to perform the movements necessary to gain size and increase strength?

What is Stamina?
-
Endurance, or stamina, refers to the "ability to withstand external physical pressures over time." In relation to exercise, stamina is the ability to run two miles without stopping, or run eight hill sprints in a row.
The Exercises
-
Distance running is a great way to raise your aerobic stamina levels. Biking, skating and swimming also help increase stamina.
Shorter exercises can also help with stamina. Hill sprints, straight sprints, agility drills and sled drags can add to your endurance. If you're uncomfortable with high impact exercises, stick to jump roping, lower intensity sprints, and running up bleachers.
Tying it all Together

Using the above exercises to mix up your stamina training to avoid boredom and guarantee progression.
