Homemade Toners for Large Pores

Pores keep skin healthy by providing it with oils necessary to maintain elasticity. Normally, they are barely visible on skin. Pores become largely noticeable after becoming clogged with oil, of if they're infected or dilated. Although it’s not possible to permanently shrink large pores, toner can help temporarily reduce their appearance.

Use tomato juice, which has toning agents to make pores appear visibly smaller. Use a cotton ball to apply it, and leave it on the skin for 20 minutes. Tomato juice can also be blended with calamine powder to reduce skin's oil production, resulting in decreased pore size

Consider honey, which effectively reduces skin oiliness and tones up large pores. It can be mixed with lemon juice and sugar to form a toning scrub. Massage the mixture into the skin and leave it on for a t least 15 minutes. Rinse the skin thoroughly with warm water.

Whisk an egg with a few drops of lemon juice and apply it to the skin with a cotton ball. The yolk and whites of eggs have properties that promote pore reduction and a healthy skin tone.

Mix 2 tsp. lemon juice, 3 tsp. rose water, 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1 tsp. gram powder together to form a paste. Apply this to the skin, massaging well. Let the mixture dry before rinsing the skin.

Mash up a whole papaya and apply it directly to the skin. Papaya helps to reduce the visibility of large pores by toning up skin. Leave the mixture on the skin for 30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.

Regularly using a natural toner on skin temporarily reduces the size of pores. Keep skin clean and don’t use products that contain a lot of oil. Eat a healthy diet and drink lots of fluids to keep skin healthy.
