Roasted pumpkin seeds are delicious, but first you have to clean them. Don't let the thought of cleaning your pumpkin seeds deter you from this wonderful snack. The process is quite simple.

    To begin

  1. Rub the seeds between your fingers to remove most of the pumpkin pulp.
Place the seeds into a colander.
  2. Cleaning the pumpkin seeds

  3. Under running water, repeat the process of rubbing the seeds between your fingers. You do not have to remove 100 percent of the pumpkin pulp, as what remains will come off in the roasting process.
  4. Drying

  5. Spread a towel onto a clean countertop or a baking sheet.
Dry the pumpkin seeds. Shake as much water off as you can in the colander. Spread the seeds onto the towel to dry.
