The human body requires an average of eight hours of sleep each night. This is crucial in adding height to the body, as sleeping allows your body to recharge and repair any damages. Getting the proper amount of rest each night will also allow you to more easily complete daily activities, and give you the energy to stick to a workout routine.

Posture

A slouched posture can make you appear two to three inches shorter than you really are. Instead of hunching over, make sure to practice good posture by keeping your shoulders back, chest out, and head raised. Not only will you appear taller, you'll also look much more confident with a strong posture.
