Naturally wavy hair is a beautiful attribute. However, sometimes those with wavy hair have some difficulty choosing the best style. While long wavy hair is nice, short hairstyles can also look just as stylish and be much easier to manage. Here are some great styles for short wavy hair that look beautiful. Once you have gotten the right cut, you can create these styles easily and maintain them every day right at home.

    Short and Sleek

  1. This style can be achieved by getting a short cut, just above the collar, and parting the hair on the side. The natural waves give extra body and frame the face. For added fullness, you may also curl the bangs and outer edges of hair under. This makes the hair appear thicker and even adds the appearance of length to the sides of the hair. Lightly spraying your hair with hairspray will keep your waves in place easily.
  2. Short Flip

  3. This style is a shorter version of a bob. The hair is basically all one length all around the sides and back. Only the bangs are cut to a shorter, somewhat jagged length. According to your preference, the ends of hair may be flipped out or curled under. The natural wave in hair makes hair appear more full of body. This style is simple to re-create and after only a short period of training you may no longer need a curling iron for the ends. You can wash, dry and easily brush your hair into place and you will have a beautiful wavy, short style.
  4. Free-Flowing Waves

  5. If you want a quick-to-fix hairstyle, this is the one for you. By having your hair cut just to the nape of your neck, you gorgeous waves will look full and healthy. This style can be achieved by adding a little mousse to damp hair and using your fingers to style it in place. You have the option of parting it on the side or down the middle. Allow hair to air dry and spray it lightly with hairspray. You will have beautiful waves and bouncy curls that make your hair look fresh and healthy.
  6. The Classic Bob

  7. If your hair has only a minimal amount of waves, you may like wearing it in a classic bob style. This is a simple cut in which the length of the hair can hit anywhere from the collar to the shoulders. It is also easy to manage and requires only a bit of styling gel or mousse before drying it and flipping it under with a large-barrel curling iron. This style has been around for many years and is perfect for everyday wear or special evenings out on the town.
