Short hair is versatile and can be styled in a variety of ways. Many women opt for short hair cuts to make styling easy and fast. Try a classic bob, a pixie or an angled style--all are cute looks that require minimal effort.

A bob is a classic cut and cute for short hair. For this style, the ends are cut bluntly and sweep your jawbone. For a trendy look, wear your bob with straight bangs cut just above your eyebrows. A classic bob is worn straight, so if your hair is wavy or curly, use a quality flat iron and a bit of smoothing cream to achieve this style.

Although many women are afraid to go too short, a pixie hairstyle can be beautiful and easy to maintain. Work closely with your stylist to achieve this look. Your stylist should avoid using a razor on your hair, since this can cause split ends. Instead, shears used to create chunky layers will give your hair volume. To style, simply rub a light pomade on your hands and run your hands through your hair, creating a piece-y texture throughout your layers.
  4. Extreme Angle

An angled cut adds an interesting element to short hair. The back of the hair is cut close to the neck and then the hair angles sharply so it's longer in the front. This look can be worn with or without bangs, either blunt cut or layered. You can easily style your angled cut using a dollop of smoothing cream, a flat iron, and a flat brush.
