Next, you'll see how an embossing pen is used to create a raised design, while a stippling pen makes continuous lines and details. The next step in the tutorial is embossing to make the basic raised pattern, followed by adding fine detail with the sharper stippling tool, or "piercing tool." This tutorial also uses a grid, to help you make uniform dots. It calls for sugar dust, or extremely fine beads, and shows a beaded frame you can make for your heart. One advantage of this tutorial is that you can print it out, and take all the time you need for each step.
