Make a branch shelf or purchase one. These unusual shelves have a branch-like base that sprawls over the wall. Attached to the jointed spots are little shelves where you can place candles and other small decorative items. Or make a branch shelf of your own with a branch from your yard or a hiking trip. Let it dry out, and then paint it. Find a flat spot on the branch and attach a square piece of wood to it. This will be the shelf. Hang the branch on the wall or secure it using a drill and screws.
