The Slendertone Flex is an abdominal toning belt. The belt contains electronic pads that cause the abdominal muscles to contract, helping to build definition and strength in that area. When using the Slendertone Flex, it's important to follow the instructions. Failure to do so could result in injury or uneven abdominal muscle development.

    Preparing the Slendertone Flex

  1. The Slendertone Flex comes with several pads, a large one and two small ones, as well as a belt and a control panel unit. To attach the pads to the belt, slide the cover off of the patterned side of the largest pad. Locate a metal stud centered between two parallel lines, on the inside of the belt. Line up the uncovered side of the large pad with that stud. Remove the covers from the patterned sides of the two smaller pads and place them in the marked areas on either side of the large pad.

Locate the battery cover on the control panel unit of the Slendertone Flex. Slide off the cover and place the three AAA batteries in the compartment. Replace the cover and slide the unit in its holder on the belt; it should click into place.
  2. Wearing the Slendertone Flex

  3. Take the covers off of the black side of the three pads. Place the inside of the belt against your body so that the large pad is positioned right over your belly button and the small pads are sitting between the bottom of your ribs and your hipbones. Fasten the belt tightly so that it doesn't shift.

Hold down the on/off button for several seconds to turn on the Slendertone Flex. Press down on the program button to select your program, and set the intensity on each side of the belt using the arrowed buttons. Once the program has been selected, the toning belt takes over. It will shut off automatically when the time is up. When the program ends, hold down the on/off button until the display goes blank.
  4. Special Features

  5. The Slendertone automatically stores information about the current and previous sessions with the device. To view the stats, use the information (i) button on the control panel. Press the button once to see the belt's current intensity level. Press it twice to see the average intensity level the belt has used on each side over the past three sessions. Press it three times to see the highest intensity the belt has ever been set to. Press the button four times to see the number of Slendertone Flex sessions you have completed.
