- Begin your bibliography on a new page at the end of your research paper. Center the word "Bibliography" (or "Works Cited," for MLA style) at the top of the page. Double space your bibliography, but do not skip lines between each citation. Start each citation along the left margin of the page, and indent all subsequent lines of the citation. Be sure to list any page references if necessary.

Then list the title of the book (underlined) followed by a period. Next, write the place that the book was published followed by a colon, the publisher followed by a comma, and the year of publication followed by a period.
