Morning sickness is one of the most common side effects of pregnancy that women face. It causes nausea, vomiting and a general unwell feeling. Morning sickness strikes at any hour of the day, not just the morning, but there are some at-home remedies.

  1. MorningWell is a sound relief system design for pregnant women to help with morning sickness. The CD is filled with sounds that use a specific frequency and different pulses of music to cure the symptoms of morning sickness. The product costs approximately $31, not including shipping costs. It is backed by the National Health Service in England whose studies show that nine out of 10 pregnant women reported benefits from using MorningWell.
  2. Ginger

  3. Ginger has multiple benefits including treating the common cold, headaches and the pain of menstrual cramps. Studies have shown that ginger can help with pregnancy morning sickness also. Ginger helps relieve nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy morning sickness. In a study of 70 pregnant women, all who suffered from morning sickness to some degree, the women who were given 1 gram of ginger a day for four days reported relief from their morning sickness whereas the ones receiving a placebo reported no relief.
Ginger can be found in the form of lozenges or lollipops, or as a liquid taken with an eye dropper.
