Many drinks available at parties or family gatherings contain alcohol. This may not be a problem for most people, but some do not or cannot consume alcoholic drinks. Non-alcoholic drink ideas are not hard to think up. Make some of these drinks without alcohol to make sure everyone enjoys themselves at your next party.

    Sherbet Punch

  1. This cold drink is a tasty idea for parties or gatherings for those who do not drink or are not old enough to drink. Pour 2 ½ cups of pineapple juice into a large bowl. Put 1 pint of raspberry sherbet and ½ pint of vanilla ice cream in the bowl of juice. Use a spoon or an electric mixer and mix until all lumps are gone. Add a 12 ounce can of 7-Up to the bowl and stir together. Now add the rest of the vanilla ice cream to the punch in spoonfuls. You should serve this non-alcoholic drink to your guests quickly before the ice cream melts completely.
  2. Refreshing Juleps

  3. Do you love mint juleps but not the alcohol that often goes with this drink? With this non-alcoholic version, you have the delicious taste of mint with the freshness of juice. Pour 1 quart of apple juice, 1 cup orange juice, ¼ cup lemon juice and 1 cup pineapple juice in a pitcher. Stir with a long handled spoon then add three bruised sprigs of fresh mint. Place in the fridge until chilled then serve.
  4. Slushies

  5. Most kids love the taste of an ice cold slushy. It is the perfect drink on a hot summer day. However, buying these drinks too often may cut into your wallet. The solution is to make them yourself. This idea works well because you can make any flavor slushy you want. For cola or juice slushies, add 12 ounces of the desired drink to a blender plus one tray of ice cubes and blend until all the ice is in little pieces.

Another way to make slushies is with Kool-Aid. Add 2 cups of cold water, 1 cup of sugar and 1 package of your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid to a blender and mix. Put 4 cups of ice or one tray of ice cubes to the mixture and blend until all ice is broken into tiny chunks. Pour into cups and enjoy your slushies.
  6. Kool-Aid

  7. A popular non-alcoholic drink that many kids and some adults enjoy on a daily basis is Kool-Aid. This drink comes in different flavors, all without caffeine. Fill a jug with 2 quarts of cold water. Add the package of Kool-Aid mix and 1 cup of sugar to the water. Stir until the flavor mix and sugar dissolve into the water. Put the jug of Kool-Aid in the fridge to chill or pour into a glass with ice cubes and enjoy.
