    Baked BBQ Ribs

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Put ½-cup sugar, ¼-cup of salt and 2 tbsp. paprika in a bowl and stir to mix. Take 2 pounds of country-style pork ribs and rinse under cold water. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Coat both sides of each piece of rib with the sugar mix and place in a large baking pan. Tightly cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in the oven. Let the ribs cook for one hour then turn them over and cook for another hour. Take them out of the oven and drain the water from the pan. Turn the oven temperature to 400 degrees F. Spread your favorite barbeque sauce over the pork ribs and bake for 30 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let cool before eating.
  2. Sauerkraut Ribs

  3. Turn the oven on to 400 degrees F. Open two 12-ounce cans of sauerkraut and pour into a large baking pan, making sure to spread all over the pan's bottom. Pour 1 ½-cups of applesauce all over the sauerkraut, then line the uncooked pork ribs on top of applesauce. Cut a large onion and two bell peppers into small pieces. Spread 1 tbsp. of black pepper and salt over the ribs then sprinkle the cut up vegetables over the seasoned meat. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the oven 2 ½ hours. Remove from the oven and let your baked pork ribs cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Pineapple Pork Ribs

  5. Put 2 pounds of pork ribs in a large pot and fill with cold water 3 inches above the meat. Turn on medium high heat and boil for 20 minutes. Drain the water and place the pork ribs in a large baking pan. While your oven is preheating to the temperature of 400 degrees F, open a can of pineapple and pour into a bowl. Cut a large onion and a bell pepper into chunks and add to the pineapple chunks. Sprinkle ½-cup of brown sugar into the bowl and stir to mix. Pour the pineapple mixture over the ribs in the pan and cover with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes then remove and let cool slightly before serving.
