Pork rib tips are a cut of the pig from the top of a main rib section. These meaty ribs are and served very similar to a full rack of pork ribs. There may be more fat in a pork rib tip section, but with slow cooking, most of the fat can be cooked off. Pork pairs nicely with sauces that are sweet and salty, so try using an orange-soy sauce with a braising cooking method for delicious a delicious pork rib tip recipe.

    Prepare the Sauce

  1. Pour into a sauce pan 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. chopped ginger, 1 tbsp. minced garlic and 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper. Bring to a boil and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Oven

  3. Place a rack in the middle of the oven to put the ribs on. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. This lower heat will slowly cook down the pork and render off the fat from the rib tips.
  4. Braise the Pork Rib Tips

  5. Spray a roasting pan with non-stick spray. Lay the ribs tips in a single layer in the roasting pan. Pour in the orange and soy mixture and cover the roasting pan with foil and seal. Braise the rib tips in oven until they start to fall apart. During the two-hour cooking period, baste the ribs a couple times with the soy sauce to glaze the rib tips. This may take about 120 to 180 minutes.
