Make a life-sized mummy: Stitch white mittens on the sleeves of a white sweatshirt. Stitch white socks on the bottom of a white pair of sweatpants. Sew the pants and shirt together at the waist, then stuff the entire thing with crumbled newspapers. Make a head by stuffing a pillowcase and tucking it into the neck of the outfit. Wrap it all in toilet paper, bandages, or strips of cotton cloth. Lay it on a table, or tie strings on it and hang it from a hook on the ceiling so it looms menacingly over the guests. -
Set up a craft table for arriving guests with name-tag stickers and markers. Provide the guests with a printout of hieroglyphs (see resources) and have them write their names in hieroglyphs.

Play "Mummy Wrap." Divide guests into teams. Give each team a couple of rolls of toilet paper. On the word go, one person from each team wraps the other person like a mummy. The first team to have a completely covered mummy wins.
