- Create a treasure hunt for your family and friends. Hide the clues around the house in areas with subtle baby-themed hints. At the end of the treasure hunt, have a box for the participants to open. That box could have baby-themed items such as diapers, a pacifier, baby booties or a photograph of your positive pregnancy test.
- Invite a group of relatives over for dinner party. At the end of the meal give each of them a wrapped picture frame as a party favor. Give some family members generic photograph frames. For the grandparents, and the dad (if he doesn't know already) choose special photograph frames. These frames should have the words grandpa, grandma or dad on them. The others at the table will quickly find out your knews as the dad and grandparents react to their photograph frames. Tell them they can use the frame for a photo of your little bundle of joy.
- Arrive at the next family gathering wearing a collection of t-shirts that reveal your news. The expecting mom could wear a t-shirt that has the words "baby on board" on the front of it. The dad could wear a shirt that says "new dad". Any other children in your family could arrive at the gathering wearing shirts that say "big brother", "big sister", or "don't blame me, my little brother did it". Your family will get the news of your pregnancy by reading the shirts.
- Gather your friends and family around for a group photograph at a party or cookout where you invite people with whom you wish to share the news of your pregnancy. When you are about to take the picture, tell everyone to say "(insert name here) is pregnant." As you take the photograph you will have a keepsake of everyone's reaction to the news of hearing about the pregnancy. This can then go into your scrapbook about your pregnancy.
- For relatives and friends who don't live close, share the news of your pregnancy with a photograph of the soon-to-be older sibling or siblings. Take a photograph of your older child wearing a T-shirt that says "I'm the big brother" or "big sister." Send copies of the photograph to your friends and relatives either in the mail or through email. When family or friends read the shirt, they will know you are pregnant.
