- Purchase small toy trophies at a party supply store to give as favors at your gymnastics banquet. You can even write each team member's name and an award category on each trophy. Choose award categories based on what each teammate brings to the team, such as "Funniest Teammate."
- Make or purchase small medals for the team member at your gymnastics banquet. Write the name of each teammate on her favor. Make your own medals by spray painting small wooden disks metallic gold and stringing them from ribbon.
- Give teammates at your gymnastics banquet equipment that they or other gymnasts use. Ribbon dancers, hula-hoops and jump ropes are all items that gymnasts might use to perform or to train. You can find these items at toy stores.
- Give out key chains or other small trinkets with a gymnastics theme or the word "gymnastics" on them. Accessory stores, such as Claire's, usually care such items. You can also make your own gymnastics key chains using letter beads with other decorative beads, perhaps in team colors.
- Give team members hair accessories or makeup that they might wear for competition. Hair ribbons, scrunchies and barrettes all make fitting gifts for a team of female gymnasts, no matter the age. A team of older female gymnasts can appreciate makeup in special colors for competition.
- Give each team member a framed photo of the team. You can use either professional team photos or a photo of the team hanging out at a meet. Gymnastics themed frames can be found at accessory stores or online. You can also use plain wooden frames and decorate them however you like.
- Design your own, or order, matching team tote bags. These bags will come in handy the next time the team has to travel to a meet. Teammates can use the tote bags to carry their money, clothes, makeup and other necessities with them.
