Splash your face several times a day with cold water, or place a washcloth soaked in cold water over your eyes when bags start to form under them. Alternately, wrap a few ice cubes in a washcloth, and place it over your eyes for 10 minutes at a time. This will instantly reduce the puffiness.

Place the rounded bottom of the spoon over the puffy area for about five minutes. - Green tea and chamomile tea are known to reduce bags under the eyes, as well as general eye puffiness. Brew a cup of tea, and soak cotton balls in the tea. Place the soaked cotton balls over your eyes for 10 minutes, then rinse your face with cold water. Alternately, put the used tea bags in the refrigerator to chill for about 20 minutes, then place the tea bags on your under-eye bags.
- Stir one tablespoon of honey into one-half cup of water. Soak cotton balls or a small piece of cloth in the honey and water mixture, then place the saturated cotton balls or cloth on your under-eye bags for 10 to 15 minutes. This will almost instantly reduce under-eye bags and puffiness.
- Potatoes are a known anti-inflammatory that reduce eye puffiness and bags under the eyes. Cut two fresh slices of potato, about one-quarter inch thick each, and place them in the refrigerator to chill. To help the slices stay in place, sprinkle a little water over closed eyelids, then place the chilled slices over the eye bags for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse your face with cold water afterward. Alternately, mash the raw potato slices into a paste, and apply evenly over the under-eye bags.
- Dehydration is one of the leading factors that cause under-eye bags. Make sure to drink at least six eight-ounce glasses of water each day to keep your body hydrated and keep under-eye bags at bay.
