So it's time to clean your tanning bed and you have no idea what products to use. It's very important to use products that disinfect the tanning bed, without harming the surface of the acrylic bed. If the bed is not properly cleaned, you may run the risk of developing rashes, or infections. Tanning bed disinfectants are poured in spray bottles. After use, the bed is sprayed and wiped down thoroughly to disinfect. Here are some recommended products to use for tanning bed cleansing.

By incorporating a protective sheen, this product repels dust and minimizes the amount of static that develops from using the bed. This product is part bed sanitizer and part bed polish.
  4. Lucasol Tanning Bed Cleaner

  5. By some Lucasol tanning bed cleanser is the best product around. This disinfectant cleanser is strong, yet safe cleaning all bed surfaces including acrylic and even eye protection goggles. Lucasol is one of the highest available cleansers in fighting germs and diseases, and meets safety requirements. Additionally, this product can be used on walls, floors, fixtures, bathrooms, waste baskets and the list goes on and on.

  7. This disinfectant cleanser comes in a citrus scent or unscented version. This product is a multipurpose product that acts as a cleanser, deodorizer, polisher and bed sanitizer. Ultra Clean has been registered as an approved tanning bed product.
  8. Alcohol and White Vinegar

  9. Products that contain alcohol or vinegar are not recommended for cleaning a tanning bed. Over time, these products will wear away the bed acrylic and run the risk of breakage. Purchase products that are hospital grade and approved for tanning bed disinfecting.
