- Braiding a little girl's hair is a great way to keep it out of her face. Simply part her hair down the middle and place one side in a rubberband as you braid the other. To keep her hair away from her face even further, consider putting the braids over the crown of her head or pinned up behind her head with bobby pins.

Curls are always charming on a little girl. Dry the hair with a blow drier after her bath. Roll the hair in soft foam curlers that have a snap closure before bedtime. The next morning, unroll the curlers. You can leave the hair down or place a barrette in the hair to keep wisps out of her face.
You also can use braids to crimp the hair. Instead of rolling the hair, make four or five braids and secure with rubberbands. In the morning, take the braids out for a crimped style. - A ponytail is perhaps the simplest style of all. Brush all the hair to the middle of the back of the head, and secure it with a rubberband. To make the hairdo a little more complex, gather the hair at the nape of the neck. Braid it, then secure with a rubberband.
- If you want an easy-to-maintain haircut, try a bob. All it will take is a quick combing in the morning for it to be ready to go. You can add things like a barrette to help keep the hair away from her face.

A bun is the perfect style for formal occasions, and it works well for activities such as dance class. Simply smooth the hair into a ponytail (in the middle of the back of her head) and secure with a rubberband. Twist the hair, and then knot it around so it lies flat of the back of her head. Secure with bobby pins. You also can braid the hair instead of twisting it.
Another take on the buns is to do two instead of one. Simply put her hair into two pigtails (a ponytail on either side of her head) and twist or braid them and secure them in a knot with bobby pins.
