Marinating Tuna Steaks

Tuna is a healthy fish that can be purchased in steak form. There are many different recipes you can use to spice up your tuna steak if you like your tuna to have a little kick. Tuna steaks can be grilled in the summer, but if you are looking for a way to cook your spicy tuna steaks all year long, you can broil them.

Rinse two tuna steaks under the faucet and then pat them dry with some paper towels. Set the tuna steaks in a marinating pan. Now you need to get out a bowl to make your spicy sauce. Add 1/4 cup of oil, 2 1/2 tsp. of soy sauce, 1 tbsp. of mustard and 2 tbsp. of garlic powder. Sprinkle in a dash of salt. Then take three lemons and squeeze the juice out of them in to the bowl. Mix the sauce together and then pour it over the tuna steaks. Set in the refrigerator for one hour and then broil for four minutes on each side. Serve hot.

Take two tuna steaks and brush them with olive oil. Now you need a small bowl to make a spicy dry rub for the tuna steaks. In the bowl, place 1 tsp. of mustard powder, 1 tsp. of lemon pepper seasoning, 1 tsp. of coriander and three shakes of salt. Rub the mixture on the tuna steaks. Oil your broiler pan and broil the tuna steaks for four minutes on each side. The tuna should look opaque. Serve hot.

Optional: If you have wasabi powder, you can add 1/2 tsp. of it to the dry rub.

Get out a bowl and place 1/4 of a cup of olive in it. Then add 1 tsp. of red pepper flakes, 2 cloves of chopped garlic, 1 tbsp. of red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp. of soy sauce and 1 tsp. of Old Bay seasoning. Mix the ingredients together and then pour over two tuna steaks. Cover with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator for one hour. Heat your oven to broil and then broil the spicy tuna steaks for four minutes on each side. Serve hot.
