Hair is manageable after washing but becomes sticky and sleek after one to two days. Frequent washing to control the hair's oily texture is necessary. Normal hair is easy to manage and doesn't require additional care. A healthful and well-balanced diet is enough to maintain this type of hair.

A well-balanced diet is integral to having healthy hair. You should drink plenty of water and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Other foods good for healthy hair are whole grains, milk products, fish and nuts. Trimming hairs regularly prevent ends from spitting. Do not overuse chemical-based shampoos, and always condition hair afterwards. Beer actually gives hair a nice shine. Use a pump bottle to saturate hair after conditioning but before blow drying. Rinsing with lemon juice adds life to dull hair. Olive oil massaged into the scalp stimulates growth and nourishes hair. Mayonnaise is an excellent conditioner. Leave on hair anywhere from five minutes to an hour before washing out.

To strengthen hair, use a solution of lemon juice and banyan root as a shampoo. Eliminate dandruff with coconut oil and lemon juice massaged into the scalp. A mixture of honey and edible oil is a remedy for dry hair. Apply, and then leave on hair for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing out. Make a paste using egg yolks and water, apply, then leave on hair for 15 minutes before washing out. This is a good conditioning treatment that promotes healthy hair. Another good remedy is vinegar, hair oil (whatever you choose) and egg yolks to provide a healthy sheen to hair. Apply olive oil to hair at bedtime and wash out in the morning to help hair become healthier.
