Miley Cyrus has captured the hearts of many young fans as a young girl living a secret double life on the hit Disney show Hannah Montana. By day, she is Miley Stewart, an everyday girl, by night she is Hannah Montana, a pop music star. Throw a Hannah Montana birthday party for the young Hannah Montana fan in your life, complete with decorations inspired by Hannah Montana's love of music.

    Recycled CDs

  1. Spray paint old CDs that you no longer want black on both sides. Use a spray paint designed to adhere to plastic such as Krylon Fusion for Plastic. Cut circles that are 1.5 inches in diameter from construction paper of different colors. Punch a small hole in the center of the paper circles with a hole punch. Glue the paper circles to the center of the CDs once the paint has dried. Label each record with a title of a Hannah Montana song such as, "The Best of Both Worlds." Use decorative ribbon threaded through the center of the record party decorations to hang them from doorways, walls or the ceiling.
  2. Posters

  3. Use large Hannah Montana posters to decorate the walls of the party space. You can find these posters in some music stores, but you can also find them online at sites such as the one linked in the Resources section. Laminate smaller posters to use as placemats for the table.
  4. Inflatable Guitars and Microphones

  5. Blow up inflatable guitars and microphones to hang from the walls and ceiling. Purchase these props from a local party supply store or online at the site linked in the Resources section.
  6. Hanging Tinfoil Stars

  7. Cut stars of varying sizes out of cardboard. Cover the stars in tinfoil or paint them with metallic paint. Punch a hole at the tip of one of the points of the stars. Thread string through the hole and tie it in a loop. Hang the stars from the ceiling and over doorways.
  8. Music Notes

  9. Cut music notes from cardboard and paint them black. Punch a hole at the top of the notes and hang them around the room using string. You can also stick them to the walls with loops of scotch tape.
