Use a balloon as the invitation for the party. Inflate a balloon but don't tie it. Write the party details on the balloon with a permanent marker while it is inflated, then deflate the balloon so it will fit neatly in the envelope. Guests inflate the balloons to reveal the details of the party.
Another option is to use a small bottle of bubbles. Print the party details on pieces of card stock or large stickers, and tie the cards to or place the stickers on the bottles of bubbles. - Incorporate the bubble and balloons theme throughout the party area. Tie helium-filled balloons in bright colors to bottles of bubble solution, with the bubbles serving as the balloon weights. Make one of these balloon bouquets for each guest, so they can be used as both decorations and favors. Set up a bubble machine to create constant bubbles for the party. Use inflatable chairs to dress up the party area and provide additional seating.
- Serve foods that are round or resemble the bubble shape. Consider serving meatballs, a cheese ball, pizza, sandwiches on round bread or a wagon-wheel pasta dish. Make a fruit salad using a melon baller to make round fruit pieces. For dessert, serve cookies or decorate a round cake to resemble a bubble or an oval cake as a balloon. Fill a bowl with colorful gumballs and other round candies for additional snack options.

Incorporate the bubble theme by setting up a bubble-blowing station. Pour bubble solution into shallow containers and provide an assortment of bubble wands. Hold bubble contests for the largest bubble, longest-lasting bubble or the bubble that floats the highest.
Offer guests the opportunity to do bubble art. Mix a few drops of food coloring with the bubble solution and pour it in a bowl. Have the children use straws to blow bubbles into the bubble solution. When the bubbles reach the top of the bowl, place pieces of white paper on top of the colorful bubbles to create designs. Use different colors for more interesting designs.
