- Store all objects that could be construed as weapons into your bags before they are checked. No sharp objects will be allowed on the aircraft and will be confiscated at security. At the point when your bags are removed from your possession and checked, it is too late to store these items in your luggage. Examples of prohibited sharp objects include box cutters, ice picks, razors, sabers and knives of any variety. Pocket knives are not allowed.
- It is important to store all sporting goods in checked baggage. Despite their value or purpose, baseball bats, golf clubs, lacrosse sticks, pool cues, ski poles and other similar recreational goods are not allowed in the passenger area of the plane. If they are not stored in checked baggage, these items will be confiscated before boarding.

When passing through security, all carry-on baggage is screened for liquids. Each passenger is allowed only to bring liquids that fit in a quart-sized plastic zipper-top bag. Carry on 3.4 oz. of liquid or less.
Passengers with disabilities, medical conditions or small children will find that certain life-sustaining liquids and medications are exempt from the prohibitions. These items include baby formula, breast milk, water, juice, liquid nutrition, asthma inhalers and all prescription and over-the-counter medications, including eye drops and KY jelly.
