Bleach Cures for Ringworm
Ringworm is considered to be an unsightly skin condition, creating visible rings just under the skin surface. Ringworm is the result of a fungus and, it is extremely contagious. Symptoms include itchiness, burning sensation and discomfort. Ringworm can be treated with over-the-counter medications or prescription medications, but sometimes people would rather try a home remedy.

The nice thing about the bleach home remedy is that it is simple, easy and very effective. It also works very quickly on the ringworm. It works by relieving the itching almost immediately and it gets rid of the ringworm in three days or less. Bleach is your new best friend when it comes to getting rid of ringworm.
How to Use Bleach

Start with two cups of distilled water. Warm it up in a glass bowl. If the bowl gets too hot, you may want to heat it up in a separate container and then transfer to a glass bowl afterward. Add 1/3 of a cup of chlorine bleach to the water and swirl carefully to mix it together. Dip a sterilized cotton swab into the bleach mixture and apply the wet cotton swab directly to the ringworm. Make sure you apply it 1/4 of an inch past the ringworm all the way to the healthy skin. Repeat the process with clean cotton swabs until the area is completely covered. Allow the bleach to sit on the skin overnight or for as long as possible. If you need to cover the ringworm, you can also use a sterile cotton ball to cover over the ringworm spot.

If the bleach mixture burns your skin, dilute it with an additional 1/2 cup of warm distilled water. Also, if you are not seeing results, reduce the amount of water you are using to 1/2 a cup and continue until you do see results. Make sure you wash all bedding and clothing on a sanitary cycle (if one is available to you) or wash everything in the normal wash cycle and then boil on the stove for 15 minutes to sterilize. Straight bleach can burn or irritate your skin. Once the cotton swab has touched the ringworm, do not return it to the bleach mixture. Instead, make sure you get a fresh cotton swab to continue on with the treatment. Avoid getting bleach on your clothing as this will stain.
