Hosting a successful wine party can be fun and entertaining. Whether you want the atmosphere of your wine party to be elegant or relaxed, you can set the mood by how you decorate. From an Old World, traditional theme or a simple, casual setting, the decorations help add the final touches.

    White Tablecloth and Candles

  1. A simple white tablecloth and candles can be used at any type of wine party. The white tablecloth makes a stunning backdrop for the wine glasses. The candles can be long and tapered for a more elegant feel or short and thick for a casual atmosphere. Avoid burning scented candles at your wine party. You will not want anything to compete with the scent of the wine.
  2. Grapes and Vintage Bottles

  3. If you can find old or vintage wine bottles, pair them up with bunches of grapes as a beautiful centerpiece for your wine party table. Clean up the bottles as much as you can to get any dirt or dust off the bottles without ruining the old labels. Play with the set up and lighting to find the best display.
  4. Faux European Art

  5. Look in hobby shops or at yard sales for fake art that gives a European feel to add a touch of Old-World elegance to your wine party. Inexpensive frames can also be purchased to give the artwork a more authentic look. Instead of hanging the artwork, prop it on a table against a wall, or let it rest on an easel. This will help make the artwork more of a party decoration instead of having it blend unnoticed on a wall.
