Skinny jeans are snug-fitting jeans that emphasize a woman's legs and curves. When you wear skinny jeans, make sure your shoes do not detract from the jeans' sleek and sexy silhouette. Appropriate shoe choices that flatter skinny jeans include knee-high boots, booties, flats, and heels.

    Knee-high boots

  1. Knee-high boots are boots with shafts that end right below your kneecaps. Skinny jeans can easily be tucked into knee-high boots to create an edgy look. Depending on the look you want to achieve, choose among different styles of knee-high boots. For example, to go for a sleek style, wear black patent leather knee high boots with blue or black denim jeans. For a rugged country look, wear brown leather knee-high boots with sandblasted jeans (jeans washed with sand particles to give them a rugged, lived-in look). To make your legs seem longer, consider wearing high-heeled boots. The added height coupled with the tight skinny jeans will make your legs look endless.
  2. Ankle boots or booties

  3. A bootie is a heeled boot that ends at the top of your foot. Ankle boots are similar, but end above your ankles. Wear your skinny jeans with booties or ankle boots for a trendy, alternative look. Both shoes have a small heel that adds height, lengthens your legs and accentuates the tapered look of the skinny jean. To wear skinny jeans with ankle boots or booties, tuck your jeans inside the shoes for a seamless appearance. If there is space between the bottom of your jeans and your boots, your legs will appear shorter.
  4. Ballet flats

  5. Ballet flats are shoes without heels that are are shaped like ballet shoes. Wear them with skinny jeans for a polished yet relaxed look. Ballet flats are comfortable on your feet and look great with the tapered silhouette of the skinny jean. Feel free to be creative when it comes to choosing ballet flats. They come in various prints, colors and textures. Simply make sure the color of your flats matches your jean wash. For example, flats with warm tones, such as brown patent leather, work well with darker washes.
  6. Heels

  7. Wear heels with your skinny jeans to make your legs look long and lean. The structure of heels causes your feet to point, which emphasizes the long tapered look of the skinny jeans. Select heels that are more dainty than chunky to avoid looking heavy on your feet. Pointy-toed stilettos work well to accentuate the silhouette of the skinny jean, especially if you're going for a sleek, sexy look.
