    Types of Exercise Bikes

  1. Traditional stationary bikes allow you to exercise as if you were riding a conventional outdoor bicycle, while a recumbent bike is more comfortable for some exercisers and provides support for the lower back.
  2. Price

  3. Basic exercise bikes start under $500, while bikes with options such as enhanced display features and movable handlebars to work your upper body can cost closer to $1,000. If you want an exercise bike like the ones in your favorite gym, be prepared to spend well over $1,000.
  4. Display

  5. The display on the exercise bike can be an important factor. Decide if display functions like calories burned, hear trate, and distance biked are worth spending more.
